“I am so happy and proud that police personnel in Mumbai are going to get a vehicle through which they will be able to control a lot of things over here,” a report quoted Akshay Kumar as saying.

“I think that’s good news for all the citizens of Mumbai. I am grateful to Mumbai police and Maharashtra government for making me a part of this ceremony,” he said.

The segways will increase the mobility and visibility of Mumbai police, thereby making them deliver more.

The Mumbai police has been equipping itself with modern technology to improve policing.

The actor will essay the role of a cop in his forthcoming film “Sooryavanshi”, which will be released soon.

He will be seen in the role of Veer Sooryavanshi, chief of the anti-terrorism squad in the film directed by Rohit Shetty.
