Tripura royal scion Pradyot Kishore Debbarma has threatened to launch a massive movement if the people responsible for the death of Biswajit Debbarma are not arrested within one week.
He said that if the ‘murderers’ of Biswajit Debbarma are not arrested within a week, his organisation ‘Tipra Motha’ will start a mass movement across the State.
Notably, ‘Tipra Motha’ has already donated Rs 50 thousand to the family of deceased Biswajit Debbarma. And, another Rs 50 thousand will be handed over tomorrow.
Speaking to the media at his residence, the Ujjyanta Palace, Pradyot Kishore Debbarma said, “Over a week has passed, but no arrest has been made so far.”
Critisising the Tripura Government, Pradyot Debbarma said that it’s the failure of the Government that clashes erupted in Kanchanpur.
“Some vested interests are taking advantage of opposition to Bru settlement and are spreading communal tensions,” he said.
It may be mentioned here that Pradyot Kishore Debbarma’s organisation – ‘Tipra Motha’ have been organising several agitation programmes in different parts of the State demanding arrest of the ‘murderers’ of Biswajit Debbarma.
