A massive fire has occurred at Bhati Abhoynagar in Tripura’s Agartala.
At least 10-15 houses were gutted in the massive fire that broke out on Tuesday night.
However, no casualty was reported in the incident.
The fire could be brought under control with the efforts of fire tenders and locals.
It took more than two hours to douse the fire completely.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman visited the location to take stock of the situation.
He also discussed with Sadar sub-divisional magistrate, Ashim Saha on the state government compensation that can be provided to the affected.
Saha said that full support from the state government will be given as per the existing rules.
Temporary shelters will also be provided to those whose houses were completely damaged in the fire.
