Assam’s COVID19 tally increased to 2,06,351 and the death toll reached 930 after the state registered 336 new cases and 4 more deaths on Saturday.
Meanwhile, 1,386 more patients were discharged on Saturday after their recovery.

Assam’s COVID19 recovery rate stands at 95%.
“Glad that we’ve hit a 95% recovery rate. My huge gratitude and complement to medical care and support staff,” Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said in a tweet on Saturday.
Assam currently has 9,367 active COVID19 cases.

The new cases were detected out of 26,022 tests, Sarma informed.
The state’s positivity rate stands at 1.29%, the health minister said.
“336 Cases detected out of 26022 tests conducted with positivity rate of 1.29%,” Sarma said.

Regarding the deaths of more COVID19 patients in Assam on Saturday, health minister Sarma tweeted: “Four more #COVID patients succumbed to their infections today.”
The deceased have been identified as Abani Goswami (55) of Nagaon; Chandra Singh Nahak (70) of Golaghat; Bishoti Sangma (50) of Dima Hasao and Haren Ray (75) of Bongaigaon.
