Gogoi, who was undergoing treatment for COVID-19 and other post-recovery complications, was discharged from the GMCH on Sunday after exactly two months.
The three-time chief minister was admitted to the GMCH on August 26 after he had tested positive for COVID-19.
He was shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) at the GMCH on September 24, following a drop in his oxygen saturation level. He was administered plasma therapy and was stable later.
