For the first time in history, girls will be allowed to take admission in Sainik School and the admission form for the 2021-22 academic session was released online on Thursday.
Sainik School, Goalpara on Thursday released an advertisement for admission to Class VI (for both boys and girls) and Class IX (for boys) for the academic session 2021-22.
The admission will be granted based on entrance examination to be held on January 10, 2021, a notice issued by the school management informed.
It may be mentioned here that defence minister Rajnath Singh has approved the proposal for admission of girls in Sainik School with effect from academic session 2021-22.
The entrance examination will be conducted at an all India basis by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Boys and girls between the age of 10-12 years are eligible to apply for Class VI AISSEE 2021 and for Class IX, only boys between 13-15 years old are eligible.
They can fill Sainik School Goalpara admission forms in the online mode on aissee.nta.nic.in.
The last date to apply for Sainik School admission is November 19, 2020.
Admit cards for Sainik School Goalpara entrance exam will be made available online tentatively from December 23, 2020.
The result of the admission test will be released in the last week of January 2021 and the qualifying candidates will be called for the medical test.
