The much-awaited season 3 of Star Trek-Discovery, starring renowned Bollywood actor Adil Hussain, has begun streaming on the popular OTT platform Netflix from Friday.
In a tweet, the ‘Ishqiya’ star said, “Star Trek Discovery season 3 is here now streaming on @Netflix @NetflixIndia. The casting is the most Inclusive I have ever seen. Yes, it does include me @StarTrek @startrekcbs @CBSAllAccess @SonequaMG @CenterWillHold.”

Adil Hussain is the second Indian actor to feature in the globally-acclaimed science fiction series.
The other actor to feature previously in the series was Indian actor-cum-model Persis Khambatta, who acted in ‘Star Trek: The Motion Picture’ in 1979.
In a congratulatory tweet to Adil Hussain, popular singer Papon said, “Indeed @_AdilHussain Da … loved the journey… from my childhood to now…. maybe we were watching StarTrek when we use to hang out in our Guwahati house and now you are in it….. inside it! An indescribable feeling! Bohut Morom!”
