A 25-year-old woman in Uttar Pradesh cheated death on Friday when she was thrown out of a moving car by her nephew on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway.
The incident has been reported from the Unnao district of the state on Friday.
She was admitted to the hospital by the employees of the UP Expressways Industrial Development Authority after they found her unconscious on the road.
Police officers familiar with the matter said that the woman was travelling in a car with the accused when they attempted to rape her.
As she fought back and resisted with all force, the accused hit her and one of them attempted to strangulate her using his belt.
During the scuffle, the woman lost consciousness and the accused thought that she was dead and threw her off the car.
Based on the complaint of the woman, the accused have been arrested and a case has been registered against them.
