Assam on Thursday reported 18 COVID-19 deaths, taking past the Assam’s tally beyond the 400-mark.
With the fresh new deaths, a total of 414 persons have succumbed to the infection so far.
The deceased have been identified as Ranjit Gogoi from Charaideo, Horihor Klita from Lakhimpur, Debabala Hazarika from Lakhimpur, Rajen Hazarika of Kamrup (Metro), Dhaneswar Thakuria of Kamrup, Maniram Bora of Baksa, Bijoy Deka of Kamrup (Metro), Chandrakanta Barman of Kamrup, Shreya Ghosh (14) of Nagaon, Gitanjali Bora of Golaghat, Anu Hazarika of Jorhat, Rebo Orang of Golaghat, Gopal Borthakur of Jorhat, Krishna Mohan Das of Hailakandi, Pradip Kumar Roy of Hailakandi, Rina Pathak of Cachar, Gajen Das of Barpeta and Sanjib Phukan of Dibrugarh.
This was informed by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet.
