Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has joined hands with director Om Raut for his next film Adipurush.
It is going to be Saif Ali Khan’s second film with Om Raut. Earlier, Saif and Om had worked together in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, the blockbuster released in 2020.

Saif will play the role of prime antagonist Lankesh in Adipurush, South Indian film star Prabhas announced on Thursday on the social media.
Prabhas has over 5.2 million followers on the Instagram, announced about Saif’s role as Lankesh in Adipurush. He wrote, “7000 years ago existed the world’s most intelligent demon.”
Though details about the film are still awaited, it is believed that Adipurush is a big screen adaptation of an epic that would revolve around the triumph of good over evil.

Adipurush is going to be Prabhas’ 22nd film, and will be shot in Hindi and Telegu. The 3D film and will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and several other international languages.
Though the budget of Adipurush has not been announced, sources close to Prabhas’ office said it will be a big-budget movie.
Adipurush will be shot in the early half of 2021, and is scheduled to be released in 2022.
Euphoric with the announcement, Kareena Kapoor also shared on the social media about Saif’s addition to team Adipurush, and wrote, “Presenting the most handsome devil in history… my man Saif Ali Khan.”
Saif Ali Khan had also played the role of the antagonist Udaybhan in Om Raut’s Tanhaji.
