Chief Managing Director of Oil India Limited Sushil Chandra Mishra on Saturday tested COVID-19 negative.

Mishra was retested on Saturday and found negative from the infection.

Along with Mishra, DGM also tested and found negative from the infection.

Recently, more than 100  employees of OIL were found COVID-19 positive and they have to quarantine themselves.

Dr P. Chandrasekaran, Director(Exploration and Development) of OIL was airlifted to New Delhi for emergency treatment.

He had tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago and he was admitted to a private hospital in Dibrugarh.

OIL Spokesperson Tridiv Hazarika said, “A few days ago Dr P. Chandrasekaran was detected COVID-19 positive and admitted at a private hospital in Dibrugarh and but his health deteriorated and in an emergency, he has to airlifted to New Delhi for better treatment.”

“He is now undergoing treatment at a hospital in New Delhi and his condition is stable,” Hazarika added.
