The district administration of Assam’s Dhubri in a bid to avoid further social spreading of coronavirus vide an order has strictly prohibited private tuition in groups throughout the district with immediate effect.

S K Jadav, inspector of schools cum district programme co-ordinator of RMSA, Dhubri, following the direction of Dhubri deputy commissioner Anant Lal Gyani has recently issued an order to all the heads of educational institutions under his jurisdiction with a strict directive to stop private tuition.

Through his order, the inspector of schools has directed to the heads of all educational institutions to take necessary steps to stop private tuitions in groups conducted by any teacher of their respective institution or by anyone else if comes to their notice.

It has also been warned that if anyone is detected in running private tuition in group by any authority at any level will be viewed as serious offence as per rule quoted under Disaster Management Act.

Further, as the headmaster/principal is the controlling officer of their respective subordinate teachers hence he/she will also be held liable of the above instructions, said order.
