Eighteen COVID-19 patients have recovered while 11 new positive cases were reported in Meghalaya on Tuesday morning.
The 18 patients who have recovered from the infection include 12 civilians, five BSF personnel and two other armed forces.
Among the new positive cases, nine are from East Khasi Hills district which include five civilians, two BSF and two other armed forces, besides one case each in West Jaiñtia Hills district and Ri Bhoi district.
With 18 people recovering from the disease, the state has a total of 282 recovery cases at present.
The number of COVID-19 cases in Meghalaya has increased to 913. A total of 282 persons have so far recovered and the state has 626 active cases. Five patients have succumbed to the disease in the state.
