Meghalaya reported 16 new COVID-19 positive cases on Monday, which saw more BSF personnel getting infected by the virus.
DHS (MI) Dr Aman War said that the 16 new positive cases include 13 BSF personnel in East Khasi Hills district and three others.

So far, there are 278 BSF personnel mostly in East Khasi Hills district, infected by the virus
The new cases have increased the number of active positive cases to 410 and a total of 466 cases.
Three BSF personnel infected by COVID-19 have also recovered on Monday.

Now the number of recovered patients is 52, and four have died due to the virus.
