Among the others, Deepa Mehta and Shabana Azmi were conferred with the ICON Achievement Award.
Along with Adil, Freida Pinto and Vidya Balan were also conferred with Outstanding Achievement.
Meanwhile, Mississippi Masala (1991) by Mira Nair, starring Denzel Washington and Sarita Choudhury won the ‘Audience Favourite’ Award followed by Satyajit Ray short film winner – Darling.
