Meghalaya registered four new COVID-19 positive cases on Wednesday.
These include three BSF personnel and the fourth patient has come from Tripura for treatment at North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS).
This was informed by state chief minister Conrad Sangma through his official Twitter handle on Wednesday.

Sangma tweeted:
‘4 more persons have tested positive for COVID19 in Shillong. 3 BSF personnel and 1 patient who has come from Tripura for treatment to NEIGRIHMS.
Total Active Cases 54
Total Recovered Cases 43’
With this the total number of active cases in the State stood at 54 as on Wednesday.
A total of 43 persons have already recovered from the lethal disease.
