The results of Class 12 board exams in Manipur will be declared by July 15.

The Manipur government has announced that the evaluation of papers will start from July 8 and the result will be declared soon.

The pending board exams for Class 12 students in the state has resumed from Monday.

The exams scheduled for March 20 and 23 are being held in July.

These exams were postponed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown which was imposed in March.

The decision of holding the pending exams in July was taken by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) due to the upcoming NEET UG and JEE exams in September.

A total of 3,618 students will be appearing for the exams today and 547 students will be appearing for the exam tomorrow i.e. July 7.

19 out of the 75 examination centres are currently being used as Covid-19 quarantine centres so students will be reporting to the remaining 56 centres.

As per the guidelines, the students will have to declare if they are Covid-19 positive before entering the examination centre.

The state board has also made sure that the exams are taking place with proper sanitation and health measures.
