Among the seven newly reported COVID-19 positive cases in Assam’s Udalguri district, there is a four-year-old baby who was at the Ranipukhuri quarantine centre of the district.
The three other persons were housed in the Bamunjuli quarantine centre under Dimakuchi police station.
The other reported cases included one from Kalaigaon and an ANM nurse of Bengbari primary health centre and one police constable of Udalguri police station.
Meanwhile, all the infected persons were brought to the hospital and the police quarter of the constable at Udalguri police station has been declared containment zone by the district administration.
With this, the positive COVID-19 cases in Udalguri district rose to 43 while 161 persons were already discharged by the hospital.
