Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Friday informed that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2020) will be held in September.
The decision was taken after considering the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country and it was based on a report submitted by a panel of experts.

As per the new schedule, the JEE Main – entrance exam will be held from September 1 to 6 and JEE Advanced will be held on September 27 and NEET will now be held on September 13.
It may be mentioned here that this is the second time that the exams have been postponed.
In a video message, the HRD Minister said, “I hope you will utilize this time to prepare well and hone your strong points further.” He also emphasized on “stress-free” exam preparations.”
