Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K. Sangma tested negative for Covid19 for the second time on Sunday.
Chief minister Sangma has been under home quarantine for the last four days after his return from Manipur and Delhi.
“This was the second RT-PCR test conducted on the chief minister within this week,” a statement issued by the chief minister’s office said.
The first test was conducted on June 22 and the second test on Sunday.
“As a precautionary measure, the Chief Minister will be under home quarantine for few more days,” the statement said.
The statement also said that the team of officials and police, who accompanied the chief minister to Guwahati, also tested negative and they are also under home quarantine.
