Classmate drawing competition

The students of Guwahati-based reputed educational institution, Shrimanta Shankar Academy, have been able to shine in the intra-school drawing competition organized by Classmate.

Due to Covid19 pandemic and subsequent nationwide lockdowns, the educational institutes across the country have remained closed for the last four months.

In such a situation, Classmate organized an online intra-school drawing competition among the students on the theme Covid19.

Classmate is an Indian brand of students’ stationery products which was launched by the ITC Limited in 2003 with the notebooks category.

The results have been announced by the organizers online.

In the Group A competition, the first prize has been won by SSA’s Class II-A student Dibya Pratim Bhagawati while the second prize has been won by Pratistha Deka of Class III-A of the school.

The third prize in the same category has been won by Ashish Kashyap Gogoi of Class IV-B of the Academy.

In the Group B competition, the first, second, and third prizes have been won by SSA students Meghna Das (Class VII), Anshruta Atri (Class V), and Dhruba Kishor Das (VI-A) respectively.

The organizers have informed that the winners from the Shrimanta Shankar Academy now have qualified for the national drawing competition to be organized by Classmate.

As the educational institutes are remaining closed due to Covid19 pandemic, Classmate will organize the national drawing competition online.

According to the SSA official sources, the school authority has arranged online classes for its students as the school has remained closed in view of Covid19 pandemic.
