Assam has registered more 151 Covid19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 4,309.
This was confirmed by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his latest tweet on the state’s Covid19 status at 12.14 am on Tuesday.

With the new cases, the number of active Covid19 cases registered in Assam stands at 2,093.
Earlier, a total of 2,205 Covid19 patients have recovered from the disease.
On Monday, a total of 245 persons, who were earlier infected by Covid19, were discharged from various hospitals across Assam.

Health minister Sarma in a tweet on Monday said Assam has achieved a 53% recovery rate.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 8 persons in Assam while 3 cases have migrated from the state.
“Alert ~ 151 new #COVID19+ cases have been reported in Assam today. Total cases 4309. Recovered 2205. Active cases 2093. Deaths 08,” health minister Sarma said in his latest tweet.
With over 11,500 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, the Covid19 positive cases in India on Monday rose to 3.32 lakh.
The death toll crossed the 9,500-mark in the country to stand at 9,520 deaths.
A total of 1.7 lakh people have recovered from the disease, while there are over 1.5 lakh active Covid19 cases in the country.
