Over 65 per cent students cleared the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM) conducted High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or Class X examination, the results of which were declared on Monday.

Manipur education minister Dr Thokchom Radheshyam Singh along with officials of BOSEM declared the results of the examination by releasing the abstract copy of the examination results at a conference in Imphal, officials sources said.

The students can check the results at www.bosem.in and www.manresults.nic.in.

This year altogether 25,084 students out of 38,390 students who appeared in the examination which was conducted across 140 examination centres in the state from February 17 to March 5, 2020, passed the examination.

Last year, more than 74 per cent students – the highest in the history of BOSEM conducted HSLC or class X examination since 1973 – cleared the examination.

Reshmi N of Pitambara English School Imphal, secured the first position with 579 out of 600 marks while H Rohid Singh of St John’s school, Nambol bagged the second position with 578 marks while Kh Bobosana Singh of Eureka Academy, Thounaojam and Rahul N of Catholic school Cachipur jointly bagged the third spot.

Each of them secured 572 marks.
