Assam has registered 182 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 3,900.
This was confirmed by Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet at 11.43 pm on Saturday.
With the new cases, the number of COVID19 positive cases in Assam now stands at 2,084.
Earlier, a total of 1,805 COVID19 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 8 people while 3 cases migrated from the state.

On Saturday, Assam reported a total of 207 positive cases.
Meanwhile, a total of 221 COVID19 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam after their samples tested negative.
Health minister Sarma in a tweet at 4.05 pm on Saturday said 200 more patients were discharged from various civil, district and model hospitals in Assam after being tested negative.
In another tweet at 7.55 pm on Saturday, minister Sarma informed that 21 more patients were discharged from Assam’s hospitals after they tested negative for the virus.
He informed that while 10 patients were discharged from Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College Hospital (FAAMCH) in Barpeta, 10 patients were discharged from the Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati and one patient was discharged from Tezpur Medical College Hospital (TMCH).
