Jail inmates in Punjab tests COVID-19 positive

Nagaland registered one more new COVID-19 positive case on Wednesday.

The new case is among 273 samples tested from Kohima Quarantine Centre on Tuesday.

This is, however, the solitary COVID-19 positive case in the State during the last 24 hours.

This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom on his official Twitter handle early Wednesday morning.

Phom wrote:

‘Out of 273 samples tested, 1 new case of COVID-19 +ve from Kohima Quarantine Centre have been reported in the last 24 hours.  

Positive      : 128

Active         : 118

Recovered : 10

Death         : 00

Update at 7: 30 am, 10th June, 2020.’

With this single new case, the state total of COVID-19 positive cases rose to 128.

The State has at present 118 active cases.

Ten persons have already recovered from the deadly virus.

The State has not witnessed any death so far.
