The image is doing the rounds in social media platforms like whatsapp, facebook and Twitter.
Notably, during the lockdown period, social functions also took a back seat.
People desisted from organizing any social functions including solemnizing marriages.
But with lockdown relaxations, some pending weddings have started taking place in the State lately.
The lockdown owing to coronavirus has gripped the nation for the last two months.
Assam is no exception.
The state also went into complete lockdown along with the rest of the nation on March 24 last.
Life came to a grinding halt since then.
However, with some relaxation in lockdown norms, the state has been witnessing normalcy limping back.
However, people are still advised to maintain social distancing and wear face masks while venturing outside.
