The number of COVID-19 cases in Assam rose to 350 on Sunday morning with four more testing positive.

Among the infected persons two are from Tezpur quarantine centre originally hailing from Chirang district.

The two others are from Jorhat who have recently come from Chennai.

This was informed by state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his official Twitter handle.

Notably on Saturday 87 cases were detected in the State.

As many as 286 COVID-19 patients are presently undergoing treatment across the State.

Till now 54 persons have been discharged from various hospitals after treatment.

The State recorded four deaths from COVID-19 till date.
