A total of 199 individuals tested negative for COVID-19 in Manipur on Tuesday, informed a state health department official.
The individuals were tested in the Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratories (VRDL) of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) and Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS).
“The cumulative number of the test has reached 2743 and the positivity rate is 0.32 per cent,” said the state additional health director Dr Kh Sasheekumar Mangang.
Stating that this is a strong indication that there is no community transmission, the release further added that the public is assured that the government is adopting all protocols and preventive steps for tackling COVID-19.
