Assam registered two more COVID19 positive cases on Monday taking the state’s total to 108.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the infected patients are from the Golaghat district.
With the two more new cases, the number of active COVID19 cases in Assam now stands at 62.
Earlier, a total of 41 COVID19 patients were discharged from various hospitals across the state after their recovery from the disease.
Informing about the latest COVID19 positive cases registered in Assam, health minister Sarma tweeted: “Alert ~ Two persons of Golaghat district have tested #COVID19 positive.”
While two COVID19 cases migrated from Assam, the deadly disease has claimed the lives of three persons so far in the state.
“Total cases 108. Recovered 41. Active cases 62. Deaths 3. Migrated 2,” Sarma added.
