The Bongaigaon Block Public Health Centre was sealed after two of its employees tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.
The decision to seal the PHC as taken by the Bongaigaon district administration on Friday.
The administration, moreover, decided to keep 213 people including doctors, nurses and their family members under quarantine.
“They have been quarantined at different hotels,” the administration said.
A group of ANMs of the PHC, on the other hand, have alleged that the two health workers who tested positive were not asked to keep themselves under home quarantine.
“They were not asked for home quarantine even after their swab samples were collected,” the ANMs alleged.
