A total of 6,052 people have registered with the Chief Minister Secretariat for CM’s Special Grant for stranded people.
The number of people verified for the Meghalaya CM’s Special Grant is 458.
The disbursement of financial assistance will start from April 20.
The last date for applications to be accepted is April 19 till 12 noon.
Under the labour department, the number of Unorganised Labourers registered for Special Assistance of Rs. 2,100 is 1,36,000 labourers, and the number of labourers verified for Special Assistance of Rs. 2,100 is 1,16,000.
The number of labourers provided support under BOCW Act of Rs. 3,000 each is 9,302 labourers.
Under the agriculture department, an amount of Rs. 2,000 released to a total of 25,830 farmers each under the PM Kisan Yojana.
