Altogether 141 samples of people, including co-passengers, healthcare workers and family members, who are connected to the Covid-19 patient from Dimapur, have been collected till now and sent for testing.
The patient tested positive for the virus in Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on April 12 and is undergoing treatment there.
Nagaland principal secretary (home) Abhijit Sinha, in his statement on Covid-19 situation in the state, on Friday said of the 141 samples, results of 138 samples have been received and all are negative.
The results of three samples are awaited.
As of 6 pm on Friday, a total of 274 samples were sent for tests from the state, including 48 samples on Friday, he said.
Chief minister Neiphiu Rio held a meeting through video conferencing with all the deputy commissioners, superintendents of police and the chief medical officers to review the implementation of the lock down measures and the state of preparedness for combating Covid-19, Sinha said.
The districts gave a detailed briefing on their preparedness and mentioned about the various issues pertaining to their districts.
Rio complemented everyone for their efforts made so far and advised the officers for continued vigil on the situation and more interventions for further enhancing the level of preparation.
