Once the coronavirus situation returns to normalcy in China, the first Bollywood movie that will be release in the country will be Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30.
This was informed by Reliance Entertainment Group CEO Shibashish Sarkar.
“Super 30 applied for censorship in China and when the entertainment industry of the country opens up, it will be the first film to release,” Sarkar said.
Super 30 is a biopic on mathematics wizard Anand Kumar, the man who founded the Super 30 programme in Bihar.
The programme guides underprivileged students to crack entrance examinations of Indian Institute of Technology.
The film, which also starred Mrunal Thakur, Aditya Srivastava, Nandish Sandhu and Pankaj Tripathi, was a huge success at the box office.
The movie was declared tax-free in Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
