This time ‘French Spider-Man’ Alain Robert is called has achieved a climing feat for a cause.
His recent daredevil stunt was against the ongoing panic over the deadly coronavirus epidemic that has claimed over 3,000 lives, according to reports.
Alain scaled one of the tallest skyscrapers in Barcelona without a safety harness on Thursday as bystanders and cops watched in awe.
He scaled the 475-foot Torre Agbar tower in just 47 minutes.
The building is famous all over the world for its night-time illuminations,
Although the spectacular show was witnessed and applauded by many, the cops arrested Alain as soon as he reached the ground.
He has been a free climber since 1994 and has been scaling skyscrapers ever since without any safety harness.
All he uses are his hands, a pair of climbing shoes and some chalk powder for grip.
About a month back, when France was dogged with strike and street protests against Macron’s bid to streamline the pension system, Alain demonstrated support for the protestors by climbing a 48-storey tower in Paris.
He reached the summit of 613-feet Tour Total Tower and stood with both arms aloft.
Interestingly, he scaled the same building nine times previously.
Robert has climbed more than 100 structures in his climbing career.
The Golden Gate Brigade in San Francisco and Dubai’s Burj Al Klafifa are some of his top achievements.
