A national integration tour under the aegis of Indian Army for students from far flung areas of Arunachal Pradesh’s Dibang Valley was flagged off at Anini on February 7 last.

The tour comprises 15 students from various government higher secondary schools, Anini in Dibang valley district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The tour is being conducted from February 7 to 22.

It will be a novel experience for the children belonging to remote areas of the district.

The students were privileged to visit Rashtrapati Bhavan and interact with the President Ram Nath Kovind.

The students will be visiting historical monuments in Delhi, Agra and Indian Military Academy located in Dehradun.

The tour will provide the students an avenue to explore unparalleled exposure to the rich and varied cultural heritage of the country and inspire young minds to join the Indian Army.

The parents, teachers and local administration appreciated the initiative of the Army for giving such meaningful exposure for the underprivileged students.
