The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) on Thursday took out a bike rally in Assam’s Kokrajhar welcoming the Bodo Accord.

The rally was also to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is coming on Friday to join  the Bodo Accord signing celebration.

Organized by Kokrajhar district committee of ABSU, over 2000 members of the students’ union participated in the rally.

It started from Titaguri area near SAI complex in Kokrajhar and travelled through the town, Banargaon, Dotma, Serganguri, and Simbargaon area.

Swargiary said the people of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) is happy to welcome the Prime Minister at the thanks giving ceremony for inking the BTR Accord.

The ABSU leaders appealed to all communities of Bodoland region to come and join the grand celebration.

Modi is visiting Kokrajhar on Friday to participate in the celebrations of the signing of the Bodo Agreement.

Hectic preparation is going on at the venue for the smooth success of the programme.
