The two-day Tata Football Academy (TFA) selection trial in association with Duliajan Football Academy for induction into Tata Football Academy, Jamshedpur concluded successfully at Duliajan in Dibrugarh district on Monday.
“Altogether 413 participants from different parts of north-eastern region and different districts of the State participated in the aforesaid selection trial and 19 numbers of participants have been selected for the final selection trial to be held in the month April/May, 2018,” said Jitu Chetry, secretary of Duliajan Football Academy.
The main objective of TFA is to provide the mainstream of national football with a perennial pool of young ace footballers trained and oriented to international standards.
The strategy is simple – ‘Catch them Young’ and give them best in terms of training.
