The official website of the Hojai district administration- hojai.assam.gov.in- was launched by the Deputy Commissioner Tanmoy Pratim Borgohain on Friday evening.
“Finally, the long-felt need for an online interface between the people and the district offices has been fulfilled,” said Borgohain.
“Initially, we have also put in some information about the district related to its history, culture, geography, economy, available infrastructure and governance,” he added.
“The district came to existence in January 2016. There are a lot of things about the district that the people needs to know,” he reiterated.
All relevant information related to all the departments will be available on the website.
