Amid anti-CAA protests across the country, a young couple from Pathsala in Bajali sub-division (now declared district) covered 9,500 km in a biking journey to promote Assam tourism.
During their journey, the couple has covered 15 states.

The duo – Rakesh Choudhury and Nitumani Talukdar – covered Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bangel and three union territories.
They covered a total of 9,500 km within 21 days.
The main aim of this journey was to make people aware of the beauty of Assam across India.

The duo started their adventurous tour from the Hari Mandir premises in Pathsala and culminated at the same venue on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, the couple was felicitated by various organizations at Pathsala in front of the Hari Mandir.
The couple informed that during their tour, they were welcomed by the public in various places and extended support.
They informed the people about the motive behind their tour.
People from various places also became part of their journey and appreciated their initiative.
Earlier, Ananda Khataniar, brand ambassador of the forest and environment department of Assam, had flagged off the bike journey in presence of Luit riders, Bajali cycling community, members of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) along with the locals of the area.
On December 5, the Tangla Bikers hailed Rakesh Choudhury and Nitumani Talukdar for their daredevil biking expedition to spread the tourism prospects of Assam.
