An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale hit Afghanistan on Friday evening and tremors were felt in several parts of northern India including Delhi-NCR.
Buildings were shaken by the tremors in Afghanistan, New Delhi, parts of Uttar Pradesh, and also Pakistan.

The National Center for Seismology revealed that the earthquake was centred 245 km north of Kabul.
Till the filing of this report, no loss of life or property was reported from any place.
