Promoting the picturesque locations of Arunachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Pema Khandu along with union sports minister Kiren Rijiju undertook a 107km ATV journey from Penga Teng Tso Lake to Mago in Tawang.
There the two leaders joined the Indian soldiers and celebrated Diwali.
The CM drove the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on snow-covered areas and steep inclines.
This comes after the CM Undertook a 122-km journey on a Royal Enfield motorcycle from Yingkiong to Pasighat.
“This is a humble effort” to promote tourism in Arunachal Pradesh,” Khandu had said after the Royal Enfield trip.
Sharing details about the trip, Khandu tweeted videos and photographs of their ATV journey.
The CM further tweeted when they crossed an altitude of 15,600ft.

The CM also posted images of he and Rijiju distributing sweets for Diwali to Indian Army personnel posted on the border with Tibet.
The union sports minister complimented Khandu on his skilled driving in a tweet on Monday.
“It was very tough driving ATV Polaris crossing above 16,000 feet. But CM of Arunachal Pradesh @PemaKhanduBJP ji drove very fast and beautifully from PT Tso to Mago! I sat with him confidently,” he tweeted.

The union sports minister also posted a close-up video of Khandu while driving the ATV.

The duo visited the men of the 18 Kumaon Regiment posted at Tawang and also attended a public meeting in the evening at Mago in the district.
“Border people are the true defender of our country. Despite harsh weather and terrain, their presence in the border has secured our territory. Salute to our Sentinels!” tweeted Khandu.
As part of the local BJP unit’s Gandhi Sankalp Yatra, the two politicians left their ATV and walked 18km in Tawang.
The CM also spend time with the Arunachal Scout.
In a tweet, he wrote, “With Jawans and Officers of the #ArunachalScout at Mago/Thingbu in #Tawang district. This regiment of the #IndianArmy was raised in 2010 to defend India’s border with Tibet/China in Arunachal Pradesh. @adgpi.”
