Marry Kardong, a specially-abled teenager from North Lakhimpur stood second in the reality show ‘Akash Subor Mon’ which aired in a local satellite channel.
A student of North Lakhimpur College, Marry is the daughter of Santanu and Toramai Kardong of Chetiagaon, North Lakhimpur.

She is a dance student of Nrityaban- a dance school run by Mayuri Dutta of North Lakhimpur.
Kardong came second in the three-month-long reality show, which went on air from July this year.
Assam Governor Jagadish Mukhi felicitated the winners.
The prize includes a cheque of Rs 30,000, a plaque and a trophy.
