The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to advance the process of online registration of regular students of Class IX and Class XI.

This move has been decided by the education board in order to streamline the processes related to examinations in a time-efficient manner and by providing sufficient time for all activities in schools.

The process has already been started from August 8, 2019 and shall continue till October 31, 2019.

The board examinations for Class X and XII in the year 2020 will be conducted through 16 Regional Offices of the Board. This has necessitated changing school codes.

New school codes have been intimated to all the schools by the concerned Regional Offices.

Schools are directed to use only new school codes in all correspondence henceforth with the board.

Only those students shall be allowed to appear for Class X and Class XII Examination to be held in between the months of February to April, 2021 whose names would be submitted through the online process of Registration.

All CBSE affiliated schools are required to register themselves before proceeding for online submission. Schools must use the ‘Affiliation Number’ as user ID, already available with them.

Schools shall to have to submit data in OASIS without any penalty till September 30, 2019.

The schedule for online registration of students without late fee is August 8, 2019 to October 15, 2019.

The registration fee for Indian schools (without late fees) is Rs 300 per student.

For foreign schools (without late fees), the registration fees  would be Rs 500 per student (for Class IX) and Rs 600 per student (for Class XI).

The registration fee for Indian schools (with late fees) is Rs 2300 per student.

For foreign schools (with late fees), the registration fees would be Rs 2500 per student (for Class IX) and Rs 2600 per student (for Class XI).
