Students from educational institutions of Assam visit Legislative Assembly

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal interacted with students of Gauhati University, Cotton University, Swahid Smriti College, Belsar and Nalbari Commerce College and urged them to help in building a Swacch Bharat.

The students interacted with the CM at the Central Hall of Assam Legislative Assembly on Tuesday.

He urged the students to work for developing clean environment around their educational institutions and the society as well.

The CM underlined the importance of having a clean society free from corrupt practices and filthy environment for a reformed and transformed society.

“Beauty of democracy lies in the involvement of people and their active participation.”

The students also shared their experience on the proceedings of the House.

The State Assembly has taken up this novel initiative under which students from different educational institutions of the state are invited to witness the proceedings of the House and where they get an opportunity to interact with the CM.
