Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Staff Nurse under ATF (Addiction Treatment Facility) Scheme. The Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) initially came up as Tezpur Lunatic Asylum under the British Government in April, 1876.In 1922 the hospital altogether became known as Tezpur Mental Hospital. With the progress in the field of psychiatry across the globe, steps were also taken to develop this hospital with modern facilities. Major construction activities happened in 1926. After the Independence, the hospital came under the Government of Assam. In 1949, Late Dr. N. C. Bordoloi became the Superintendent of the hospital. During his tenure, the hospital saw remarkable improvement in the administration and treatment services. Dr. Bordoloi became the first psychiatrist in the country to receive the Padmashree Award from the Government of India. He got it for his dedicated service in the health sector. In 1999 the Institute came over to the North Eastern Council (NEC). The Institute became “Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health.” On June 1, 2007, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India got the institute.

Selection Procedure :
Candidates must appear for a walk-in-interview on 1st July 2024 from 10 AM onwards in LGBRIMH, Tezpur-784001, Assam

Eligible candidates must e-mail necessary scanned copies of documents altogether.
The documents must include all relevant Original testimonials, bio-data, Educational Qualification, Experience and also self attested copies of certificates.
Applicants must also bring one PP size photograph for the interview
